Man, Day Care Packs a Wallop

So after not even a full four hours in day care, Will came down with:

1. A fever.
2. A runny, snotty nose.
3. A horrible cough.
4. Pinkeye.
   

Poor Will! He was pretty miserable all day, just wanting to sleep and snuggle, but he had bursts of energy where he seemed like his regular self. My favorite was when he saw a stuffed gorilla and swayed side to side making the "Oo, oo!" monkey noise. Such a comedian!

Anyway, here are some pictures of Will from happier times:

First Day of Day Care

So, Will, how did you like your first (half) day of day care?


"You didn't tell me you were LEAVING me here!!!"

The good thing about Will, though, is two minutes later he was back to his usual cheery self:


"Ah, freedom!! I don't think the sun has ever shone so brightly!!"

And a couple hours later, he was even plotting his revenge:


"Oh, you'll pay for leaving me alone in that strange place, Daddy. How does a 3 AM wake-up call sound?"

End of An Era

"Thanks for taking care of me all this time, Ba and B'rung! I can't believe you watched me for almost five months!!! I'll really miss you! Look how sad my face is!!"


"Special thanks to B'rung for teaching me how to crawl, walk, read, feed myself, talk, drum, sing, play guitar, cook, clean, write, draw, drive, and play chess. Also thanks for putting me through your weight loss regimen so I was able to shed my baby fat and drop down to the 53rd percentile in just four months!"

"Come on, Anabelle and Dad! We've only got two more weeks to perfect our act of the three of us riding a tiny red tricycle in time for the Feipel family picnic!!"


"Psst! Hey, Dad, maybe we need to cut Anabelle from the act and just make it a father/son duo!"


"OK, hold that position! This photo is going on the cover of the program!!"
